I live in the beautiful east Texas area - pine trees, azaleas, and lush landscaping. I teach Developmental Writing at our local community college and enjoy organic gardening with my husband. I was an sixth grade English teacher for 31 years - I love to read and to write. After retirement from the sixth grade teaching, my husband and I sold our home and lived in an RV for 5 years. My family is my life, but I still breathe a sign of relief when the last car backs out of the driveway after a visit - no one has moved back home yet! I have lived long enough to know that life can "turn on a dime," and I try to appreciate every day.
