Warts: Be Gone!

It Was Ugly!

The wart that seemed to just appear at the end of my finger was ugly. I have never had many warts, but this one was a "doozie." It was at the end of my little finger - at the right edge of the fingernail. It protruded so that although it wasn't really painful when I tried to write or when I bumped it, it did hurt. Since I teach English and write quite often, it hurt quite often. Of course, I went to the doctor and, of course, he tried to "freeze" it off - didn't work. I went back and he sent me to a another doctor who proceeded to cut it out and off. That really hurt - a long needle at the end of your finger - not good and besides it didn't work. Within two weeks, it was back. Finally my husband read an article on the computer and we decided to try the "banana cure." Each night I cut a small piece of banana peel, put the inside against the wart and then put a bandaid over the peel and the wart. Each morning, not wanting to go to school with a banana taped to my finger, I took the contraption off. By the end of the second week, it was obvious that something was happening - there were larger holes in the wart. By the end of the fourth week, it was nearly all gone. By the end of the fifth week, wart begone! It began to come back once, but I quickly started the process again and within a couple of days, it was gone. Saved money, saved pain!

I remember my grandpa had something he used to remove warts but can't remember what it was. So glad this worked for you.
